This is the real one chance! Ride on Oyo
Don’t expect anything tangible from a government which opened up schools, but readily abdicates the responsibility of safety to the PTA. This government fails the first task of governance – safety.
To think this same government banned the collective efforts of the PTA in schools on assumption of office, as if it knew what it was doing! It is also vexatious to realise that the policy to partially open schools is actually a gamble.
If things go wrong this government says it will close the schools. In the first place, why should your own decision be at variance with the national guidelines?
I feel you, my brother. The disappointment of buying what you thought was a mobile phone while you are in traffic at Oshodi only to get home, open the package and find fufu packed in it.
It’s a sad development. I’m at a loss why the rush to open schools. It’s not as if both WAEC and NECO would organise a separate exams for Oyo Schools. Mind you in the US where the governors kids are, schools are yet to open. The kids are home with their mum.
Why eod he be playing kite with our kids’ lives? Good to know that both the NUT and the association of Principals have condemned the reopening. It’s an I’ll thought out decision tha two’s brood the state no good.
Let me put it on record tha t the state and so many others are not telling the truth about the rate of deaths from the virus.
Whatever for, I don’t know.
