SEN. BINANI FACILITATES FOR TWO ADAMAWA PLAYERS TO PLAY FOR FLYING EAGLES

Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani, the senator representing Adamawa central senatorial zone has facilitated the shortlisting of Abdulaziz m bello (seeman) and Ahmed Zailani (Lacassera) to travel to the under-20 camp in Abuja for selection in fulfilment of her promise almost 3 months ago.

The two football stars playing for local side FC UB in Yola captured the attention of NFF officials while playing at the finals of Binani Football Competition.

The competition which is an annual event is aimed at promoting young talented footballers in Adamawa state.

Handing over plane tickets and other logistics to the two players, the chairman Binani Ambassadors Hon. Maulu Usman said it is in fulfilment of the promise made by Sen. Binani almost 3 months ago.

Maulud said that the two players who played at the finals of this years Binani Football Competition wowed spectators who were at the Jimeta temporary stadium to watch the finals.

He said that Abdulaziz m bello (seeman) and Ahmed Zailani’s (Lacassera) talents didn’t go unnoticed as the NFF officials singled them out from the magnitude of players and promised to take them to the Nigeria under-20 camp for trials.

With this development, the players if they perform exceedingly well, will be selected alongside other players to represent the Nation’s under-20 team.

He further explained that the Senator has taken care of all their expenses, just like she promised at the finals of Binani football competition.

He also reiterated her commitment to making sure that dividends of democracy is enjoyed by the people in her constituency.

The Senator who is known with fulfilling promises, has been empowering youths in all over the State.

The two players have since departed to Abuja where they will team up with other players selected for trial for the Nigerian under-20 team.
