His Eminence the National Chief Imam was today offered a rare opportunity to close the gathering of Sultanate, Ameers, Govenors, Imams, Islamic Scholars, State Senate Presidents and federal Gov reps with special prayers on the Sultan, the Sokoto state and the federal Republic of Nigeria.
His Eminence was introduced to the gathering as a special guest of honour and a guest of the Sokoto State.

His Eminence is in Nigeria at the joint invitation of the Sultan, the Supreme Leader of Muslims in Nigeria, Sultan SA-Adu Abubakar and the Govenor of Sokoto, Wazir Aminu Tambuwal to the wedding of the Sultan’s daughter.

Among the high powered personalities in Sokoto for the one but very important event is the Ameer of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi Lamido II who’s also scheduled to receive His Eminence later tonight at his lodge in Sokoto. The Chief Justice of Nigeria, the IGP of Nigeria, the Govenor of Kebi State, Deputy Govenor of Kano State and the Govenor of Jogawa state.

His Eminence was accompanied by Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu, spokesman, Alhaji Abdul Lateef Abdul Salam, protocol officer, Alhaji Abubakar Osman Sharubutu, Special aide of His Eminence, Alhaji Khuzaima Osman, PA to the National Chief Imam and Mallam Belo Abubakar, spiritual consultant and a friend to His Eminence.
