My mom beat me always because of my love for football -Richard Attah

Richard Attah, 25, goalkeeper of Accra Hearts of Oak .he once played as goalkeeper for Elmina Sharks but was signed to Hearts of Oak December 1st, 2019.

He said his passion for football since his childhood, it is his dream which he must achieve it. Some parents do not want their wards to enter into any football relationships due to their own misconceptions.

It is a fact that in football one goes through many times of difficulties or consequences. But that shouldn’t be the cause of not achieving your goals.

Richard made it clear that, at his younger age, his mother use to beat him anytime he goes out to play football but he still never gave up because he wanted to achieve his dream as a footballer.

Anytime he is beaten up by his mom, he goes out the next day to play again.
Due to that his mom has refused to lay upon her hands of blessings to her son to progress in the life of Football. But that hasn’t been an hindrance of him calling off football out of his life, he moved on.

“My mum used to beat me always because of my love for football. Anytime she beats me, I go and play football the next day. She never gave me her blessings to play football.”

After he was chosen to play for the national team, Black star ,his own mom who use to beat him because of football and never poured out her blessings on her son congratulated him for such an opportunity.

“When I told my mother about the callup to the Black Stars, she said ‘you are finally realizing your dreams.'”
