Muhasinat ft Pobee Mwintombo from the Spoken Word “Peace to the World”

“WE SPEAK PEACE IN YOUR HEART” – Muhasinat ft Pobee Mwintombo from the Spoken Word “Peace to the World”, Ghana, 2020. Our Dutch National WO II Remembrance of the Dead (Dutch: dodenherdenking) on 4th May, for me, means a day of silence, humility and respect.

An opportunity for #healing my, and our, ancestral lineage. Being a citizen of the world, I ask myself more than on any other day WHAT DO I DO and WHAT CAN I DO MORE in contributing to a peaceful and bright world for all of us? In every moment? Through my beliefs, thoughts, words, feelings and actions? Being a citizen of the world, I connect to all victims of all wars and other forms of suppression. Everywhere. In all timelines.

And simultaneously I feel within myself the world I desire to live in and I desire for future generations: A WORLD OF PEACE. (Officially 4th May Remembrance Day commemorates all civilians and members of the armed forces of the Kingdom of the Netherlands who have died in wars or peacekeeping missions since the beginning of the Second World War). “MAY OUR SOCIETY NEVER FALL APART” (ever again) – Muhasinat ft Mwintombo On 5th May, the Netherlands celebrates Liberation Day (Bevrijdingsdag).

A day of joy on which I question; ♡ What is the meaning of freedom for me (Now Africa helped me to reclaim my #freedom ;-))? ♡ And how do I continue passing it on to future generations? ♡ In such a way that the Light of Liberation overlights the darkness of the memory, while we always honour and remember the ones who paved the pathway of freedom for us? #peacetotheworld #passiton #talents4humanity – The Power of Connection
