Baffour Gyan ,40, senior brother of Baby jet, retired striker player both in local and international teams. He was a good and skillful player ,he played in liberty professionals ,Asante kotoko in the Ghana premiere league he also played in the international clubs like Ao kalamata, Slovan liberec, Dynamo Moscow.

His little brother Asamoah Gyan also called Baby Jet, 34, a striker player like his senior brother Baffour ,former Ghanaian National Team captain, His career as a footballer has been both local and international, that has been the wishes of many footballers to play outside the country. Asamoah played in the Ghana premiere league, Liberty Professionals ,played in the Black stars team. He also played in Al Ain,Udinese,Rennes,kayserispor,North East United, Shanghai SIPG and Modena.

“We all serve the living God but I will say, he is my second god because he has done everything for me. The mistakes he made in life, he made sure I didn’t go through them. He is like a guardian angel till now.” Asamaoh Gyan said on Max TV ,interviewed with Baffour Gyan

“He went to Adisadel College and I wanted to follow his footsteps when I completed JHS and I had to choose Adisadel College, so I chose all the Cape Coast schools.” Asamoah Gyan  said.

“Baffour said no. All my friends(Baby Jet friends)  that were in Accra I played with, I saw them playing in the U-17 national team and I was at school. My brother should have been in that team at that time, so he advised me not to go that far, I should be in Accra, so, that was how I chose Accra Academy.”

Baby jet, has followed the footsteps of his brother Baffour Gyan to also achieve success in his football career.

“My grade was okay so they spoke to the headmaster and he said okay, because I was a football player. So, he was the one guiding me in all these things and it really worked.” He added.

According to Baby Jet statements, Baffour Gyan has been like a Role model to his little brother Asamoah Gyan. He chose the right path for his brother to walk on, to achieve his goals. And there it goes!!……
