Ghana Lock Down 1am on Monday, 30th March – CoronaVirus
So, effective 1am on Monday, 30th March, some forty-eight hours from now, I have imposed, pursuant to the powers granted the President of the Republic, under the Imposition of Restrictions Act, 2020 (Act 1012), restrictions on movement of persons in the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area (GAMA, which includes Awutu Senya East), and the Greater Kumasi Metropolitan Area and contiguous districts, for a period of two (2) weeks, subject to review.
John Dramani Mahama,
Happy Sunday, my friends.
I want to remind us, once again, that we all have a role to play, not just government, in managing the Coronavirus pandemic. In these times, the best remedy to stopping the spread of #COVID19 and prevent yourself from infection, is to stay home. Let us heed the call to stay home, and remember to always wash your hands with soap, and under running water.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia
Life is so precious and we should never take it for granted. I wish my boss and the precious gift of our time, H.E President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, a happy 76th birthday.
In these difficult times of our nation, your steady and strong leadership will see us through.
May Almighty God continue to endow you with more wisdom and knowledge to develop Ghana in good health and long life.

Ghana Lock Down 1am on Monday, 30th March – CoronaVirus
On Tuesday, 24th March, 2020, I met with the leadership of some of the 137 Market Associations in Accra, to thank them for co-operating with the disinfection exercise that was carried out yesterday in markets in the capital. Amongst others, I urged them to continue to maintain strict self-discipline, and continue to practice prescribed social distancing and enhanced hygiene protocols in all aspects of our daily lives.
