Ramadan has officially started, with Muslims all over the world participating in fasting during this Islamic calendar month. In the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, Muslims of a fit body and mind who fast for Ramadan will not be allowed to feed, drink, smoke or have sex from sunrise until the sun sets.
As far as non-practitioners are concerned, this also begs the question: Can you drink water during the day during Ramadan?
Instead, it is recommended that someone who fasts drink as much water as possible in the early morning to prevent dehydration during the day. If you were able to eat or drink something during the day, it would be deemed invalid.
The quick would also be null if you had sex or had to vomit yourself during the daylight hours. However, if you have a cycle of Ramadan, are a boy, or are not of a sound mind, then you are exempt from fasting.
If, because of your cycle, you skipped some of the quick, you are encouraged to make up the time as soon as your cycle finishes.
If you think when you’re fasting, then forget about drinking, you can’t even make up your own saliva in your mouth and gulp it down. Smoking, which is actually smoke, is banned.
Can you drink water during the day during Ramadan?
It depends on who you are and in what condition you are. If you’re a good Muslim, no. If you are a Muslim but a doctor who is a Muslim practitioner, no fasting is advised, then yes. If you’re a Muslim who’s slowing down because of travel, then yes. If you’re a non-Muslim, and you don’t fast, then yes.
