William Opoku Mensah, Kumasi Asante kotoko, the porcupine warriors striker says he hasn’t closed doors for teaching but he will soon return to classroom to teach but not after he retires from football.
The Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker holds a Bachelors Degree in Health, Christian Education and Recreation and has taught in many senior high schools.
On account of being a footballer, in fact a striker and as well as holding a Bachelors degree In health Christian Education and Recreation, he will focus on what he is in right now as a footballer but he will soon return to classroom to teach. Although he doesn’t know when he will return but will do so not after retirement in football.
During his play with karela, he was still a teacher. He combines the football and the teaching altogether one,but now his focus is on Asante kotoko ,the porcupine warriors and wants to win the championship league . He added that he has passion, love in teaching and has taught in many senior high schools.
“I have not closed my doors to the teaching profession,” reveals Opoku Mensah.
“I have plans to return to the classroom. I cannot tell exactly when but it would happen before I retire from football,” He revealed to Kotoko Express App.
“I enjoy teaching, which is why I was able to combine it with football while at Karela. But my focus now is on Kotoko. I want to win either the Champions League or the Confederation Cup with the club.”
